Hi Not many of us around. A year ago, I did not know that my father was a US GI who met my mother during WW II. SInce then, I have been able to track down my US family - my Father's dead now unfortunately, but I do have a brother ans sister there. They had known about me for 10 years or so, but had very little to go on to help their attempts to find me. I had an address, photos and an army service number, and through these, and an American Gen site, managed to track my family down. There must be quite a few others in the same situation. I might be able to help if you want pointers to finding people in US, or in Britain with a similar background, or just to swap stories. (My US relatives are in NM with connections in southern CO.) My US ancestor was actually born in Montreal in 1850 of American parents. Sounds odd?
