I keep getting this message straight after I shut down my pc on a blue screen background "Windows protection error. You need to restart your computer. System Halt." its really annoying and I'd like to know what the real problem is and how I can prevent it. thanks for any help I've got a windows ME, 128MB RAM, 12.6gig (only 2.4gig has been use) and 1.2gig (I use this for personal documents and other stuffs like mp3, used 272MB), cd-rom, cd burner, PIII 550e, msi motherboard... .or is this a conflict between my softwares? I really don't know where the problem relies. and sometimes when I turn the pc on, it doesn't turn on. I have to press it at least three times to get it going. once again any help will be appreciated
