Hi, My Name is Lorraine Chavez-Dye (I go by Lori) My Mom and Grandmother were born in Trinidad Colorado My Mom is Marie E. Lucero-Chavez born June 1937 My Grandmother Sadie Lucero born June 1919 Sadie's parents listed on her SS record are Father Jose A. Lopez and Mother Delfina Vigil. I've hear two stories on her maiden name either Vigil or Lopez when I showed my Mother this record from SS Mom wasn't sure.. My Grandfather worked in the coal mines, followed the beets, and later lived on the farm and milked cows. Sam Lucero Nov 1912 Father is listed as Alberto Lucero and Mother is Martina Muniz I don't know what happened to Alberto and I do know that Martina re-married to Macario Gauna and they had more kids. I do know that some of them still live in Trinidad, however I don't know any of them or where in Pueblo and Trinidad they live. Please if you can help in anyway let me know.
