I am in Australia and am trying to locate details for my friend about her great grandmother, who was born in Tuciman around 1900. Her name was GRACE PERKINS, and her father was WILLIAM PERKINS. The father helped to build the railways in Tuciman, Argentina, as an engineer. Grace also had a sister also born in Tuciman, and her name was Margaret Perkins. Margaret was born about 1898. The father, Willaim Perkins was English and died in Argentina between 1900 and 1910. We have tried to get information from Tuciman, but they said to write to Buenos Aires. When we wrote there, Buenos Aires told us to write to Tuciman. We'd really appreciate any information that you might be able to give us...especially about how to find out how to get birth and death certificates, and how we can find out where William Perkins is buried.
