    1. Hospedales Family Name
    2. raven12
    3. Can anyone help with the Hospedales Family history... I know some members of the family moved from Spain to Venezuela and on to Trinidad. What were their names? When did they move? What part of Spain did they come from? Does the family have Family Coat of arms & motto. Are there any Hospedales family any where else in the world, if so where. Any help would be welcome.

    3. Many 'Family Tree Packages' include the facility for exporting a genealogical database file in Gedcom format. DftCom2 inputs a Gedcom File and creates a WebSite folder containing the following files: A database file in the format required by the Dynamic Family Tree. A Java Applet which implements the Dynamic Family Tree. A simple HTML test file which demonstrates using the Java Applet to display the Dynamic Family Tree on a suitable browser. In addition to specifying the required Gedcom file, the user may also specify various options and filters which determine how DftCom2 will process the Gedcom file. Processing the Gedcom File using the default option settings is entirely automatic, although some of the more complex options involve a run-time dialogue with the user. When a Gedcom file is opened, the program uses any previously selected option, filter and tree owner settings for the file. For a full discusion of the implications of using an edited version of a Gedcom file after Options and Filters have been specified, see the section on Gedcom Editing. 3. Another good thing is that they seem to have improved the way that FamilySearch handles hispanic binomial surnames. Before it would only match on the maternal part. This caused me to go back to using the CD- ROMs at the FHC. Now it seems to match on either maternal or paternal. -- Donald R. Newcomb Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/

    3. No. NUNCA Maldonado vendría de McDonald (ni de Burger King ;-)). Maldonado significa en español algo así como "mal dado", y etimológicamente estoy seguro que se puede trazar su línea sin vinculación alguna con apellidos foráneos.
