La localización de mis antepasados se sitúa en el BEARN de Francia (Bayonne, Urdos, Orthez…) provincia n°64 llamada Pirineos atlánticos. Parece que han pasado la frontera varias veces. Hola, François: Aprovecho este hueco para agradecerte la dirección de página "web" que me enviaste sobre los archivos de los Mormones. Aunque en los lugares en que yo tengo interés de búsqueda no tienen ningún archivo eclesiástico microfilmado (no sé de los demás), no deja de ser un buen punto de referencia para posibles búsquedas futuras. Lo que sí he visto es que tienen microfilmado el famoso Catastro del Marqués de la Ensenada (siglo XVIII). Sin embargo, es un libro que no es difícil de encontrar en España actualmente. No hace mucho se ha reeditado en diferentes volúmenes. También, para Astorga tienen un Directorio editado en los años sesenta. Gracias a la amabilidad y gentileza del archivero de aquel obispado, en mi última campaña pude hacerme con un ejemplar original del Directorio. Figuran parroquias de la diócesis que ya no existen, con interesantes datos estadísticos. Repito, François, muchas gracias. Por favor, que no decaiga el intercambio de experiencias y comentarios sobre nuestras propias vivencias. Compartir siempre es positivo.
