Fluid on the knee I can understand. Saw the doctor again today and he said there is a build up of fluid, took a very long needle and drained some of it off--came out blood red--said it was from the fracture, the blood vessels' were reacting. I'm suppose to place ice-packs on every 20 minutes for 20 minutes---hard to do at times! But I'm trying! Sorry to hear about your fall, things like this is bad for diabetics. We don't tend to heal fast as is and it all seems to last far longer than it actually does--prayers for you as well there Jim. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim Sharpe" <sharpe@britishlibrary.net> To: "Vicky Ballantine" <cobolt47@frontiernet.net>; <GEN-FRIENDS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, January 24, 2002 8:35 AM Subject: Re: [GEN-FRIENDS] update on knee That was a bad fall Vicky. Here's me moaning about a fall I had just before we moved home. I was talking on the phone to brother in law Denis, turned around to enter the living room and fell over a bag which I'd put down to pick up the phone. It fair brought tears to my eyes and three months later I still have fluid on my knee but my doctor said he doesn't feel concerned about it. He's not got the bad knee. <G> Jim Sharpe Shaw, Oldham. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
