    3. It just came on the news here in UK that a rescue helicopter crashed in snowy mountains trying to rescue climbers somewhere in the US. Oregan I think. The rescue was being filmed and they showed the helicopter breaking up as it rolled down the mountainside. These damn climbers, walkers and mountaineers are a pain throughout the world. I wish they'd learn not to rely on others for rescue and make people risk their lives. Very selfish. Brian Staffordshire, UK List Admin --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. 3. Have to agree there, Brian. Mountain rescue people do it all for love of it, no money involved. I am always appalled at the accidents that happen in terrible weather conditions, and which could have been avoided. That was a bad one here the other day (inquest reports) where a father had taken his lad fishing in the dead of winter, and they were cut off by the tide in Morecambe Bay. Rang his wife on the mobile, and spoke to the rescue people (risking their lives in freezing fog) but both died because they couldn't find them.
