    3. Lovely cat, Sue - I can picture the conversation when you named her "Shall we call her Patchwork? No we'll call her Quilt"! I have had a few cats like that, tortoiseshells. The first was during WW2, Fluffy. Then in 1957, The Famous Eccles (people used to say "Oh, yes, because she looks like an Eccles Cake, but that wasn't the reason, was it guys?) The last of the torties was Candy, who is buried in the garden of this house. Marj --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). 3. I'm not a "cat" person but thought your photo was great. You should enter it for a competition - was a lovely looking pussy your Quilt is. 3. Hi Sue, I must congratulate you on being the owner (?) of such a beautiful example of cat. I think that we should all consider giving one of the thousands of poor homeless cats a place where they can safely reside. What say you, Brian ???? 3. That's exactly how we can to acquire her too as she was one of a litter of five, plus the mother, that 'found' us. We took the mother cat to our vet to have her spayed as we've seen her around the neighborhood for two years having litter after litter of kittens. We had to bring the babies inside while mother was having her surgery and recovery or they would have starved. I found homes for three of the litter and we kept the mother and two kittens. We already had another kitten, so our number rose to four. A few days ago our 24 year old daughter moved back home, with her cat, so now we have five felines underfoot. They're all spayed/neutered, declawed (front paws only), and very pampered.
