    3. I think Marg that the clock has perhaps turned full circle because both Japan and Germany have somewhat rocky economies these days. I lost a packet on the Tiger economy a few years ago and Germany hasn't recovered from bailing out the ex-communist half yet and doesn't look likely to for some time.     3. If you were to visit Germany, you wouldn't know their economy was shaky. I do believe that the German people were financially wealthier before, during and after the war.
