Because they aren't allowed to accept it any more. Deer meat is to rich for their blood. In the late 60's my first hubby hit a doe, then we had to wait for the sheriffs office to come and claim the deer for a senior home. Then the laws changed and now they can't accept it. Some of those people would be happy to have deer meat! Good morning, Isn't this a cop out. I mean, someone who conducts his or her life in a certain way and then gets told by someone who knows better that something "is not good for them" has the right to decide for themselves. I think a good life but a short one is better than no life at all in a "senior home".
