Glad to hear it, I think the good ole UK would be a sadder place without all the pageantry, opening of parliament, trooping of the colours - just think what dollar earners our Royals are. As for a job for life, well if we had a president then s/he would have a pension for life - and don't tell me they don't have their hangers on - I know the do. Our royals just do it with a bit more style.
