Marged! How lovely to look out and enjoy these gorgeous blooms!....So nice to see your builder provided a tree like this...not here for sure! Thanks for sharing with us Marged...especially us 'here over the pond'..who will have to wait quite a bit as yet before ours come to full bloom like yours! I note also that the builder also provided what I call 'the Spanish Tile Roofs'...they look so lovely...and I do believe very little...if perhaps ..no maintenance/replacement is required...Am I right?? Over here...that type of roof is VERY expensive...and so one does not see many of them ...only in the 'higher class' residential areas... hmmmm... Yes you're right Frances - we are about to have a couple of tiles replaced, but it's the first time in 35 years. Mind you, the lower part of the roof, the sloping bit above the ground floor, we had done about twelve years ago as previously it was a flat roof that just didn't work - it let in water so we had it sloped and tiled to match the other. Good job I got those pictures yesterday, as the wind is back today, cutting like a knife, and blowing all the blossom off onto the grass. It will be like a carpet in a day or two.
