    3. Don't think that because you write your will that is what will happen. My F-in-L did that but his almost ex wife (they hadn't got to the absolute) was able to change it. Kids can go to the court and change what you want. That's why I intend to spend all mine, or give it away to who I want to have it, before I die!!!!     3. Spending it all is a good idea if you think it would create problems, but we brought our kids up to be self reliant as you would no doubt expect from my expressed opinions. They are both self made, very unselfish and in nearly fifty years have shown only love and consideration for each other as they do to us.
