For once, I stayed up late last night and watched a T.V movie with the above subject about the 1993 bombing of the Twin towers. It wasn't like your usual hollywood movies, more like a documentary, and very interesting especially as I was able to see how the towers were inside, the structure and layout. The security staff weren't painted in a very good light. Some firemen lost their partner through a gaping hole in which he dropped 4 floors and they were looking for another way to access them. The security chief they asked on the way didn't have a clue how to help them. The amazing thing was the cheek of the fella who had hired the van (which contained the bomb) he went back to the rental company demanding his 400 dollars deposit back as the van was stolen. They told him to report it to the police, which he calmly did and still during this rescue operation is going backwards and forwards to the rental company asking for his money. He wasn't what you would call a professional terrorist. anyway the FBI are on his case and they follow him, but the press get hold of the story and they have to make an early arrest before it hits the news. I reckon if the media hadn't have given that ultimatum more of these terrorists would have been found and that terrible tragedy of September 11th could have been stopped in its tracks. It's obvious now that the Twin towers was a major target from then. They thought that it would collapse with the 1993 bomb. The ringleader was a legal, and had a degree in chemical engineering. I'm presuming this is the man that they visited in gaol to try and find out more about the Al Quaida movement. The terrorists then were in the New Jersey and Brooklyn areas. angela Protected by Norton Anti Virus 2002
