    3. Nowadays in Canada you go by VIA Rail. It is still possible to cross Canada by rail starting out in Halifax. The train goes by way of Moncton and the Mirimichi to Quebec City, Montreal and Toronto. After Toronto it goes north across the top of Lake Superior across the prairies and the Rockies to Vancouver. Then you could go down to Washington state and come back across through the US to the East Coast. Hmm Maybe we should try it too.
