And before you ask, Jim, they are not the things you wear when it's cold! I just bought one off the TV. £69.99 delivered within three days. We shall see. Then I can give you lot headache with my piccy's. I went mad yesterday and bought two packets of biscuits, just in case I get snowed in. My car has been off the road since Christmas so shops are hard to get to and stocks are getting low. Trouble is, I've eaten half of them already. Well, I was starving [almost]. If I belonged to the church I could hunt them down and eat well. But I don't have much time for them. I thought you lived in Droylsden Brian. You won't get snowed in in Droylsden. While we're on the subject, what's the correct spelling Droylsden or Droylesden. You wonder why I ask? In the 1881 census the first Middleton Sharpe to live in Manchester (C-on-M) had entered in his 'where born' box Wigton, Cumberland. This was scored through and Droylesden inserted. I couldn't find him anywhere in Droylesden, Births, Marriages or anything. then I noticed the woman next door was born in Droylesden so I smelt a rat or an incompetent official, and after a search found him in Wigton minus the final 'e' and four years old in 1851 with his dad brothers and sisters and grandad 'Old Mid'. No mention of Mum. Even further back one of the women was nee Middleton.
