You need to have a download resume program, and then it will do just that...pick up where it left off. Sue* ----- Original Message ----- Last night I checked on Microsoft updates and found several for Office 2000. One had to be installed before all others so I proceeded only to discover it took 2½ hours. I set the download and went to bed only to find that Freeserve, my ISP, had disconnected after two hours even during a download. Apparently 2 hours is the longest Freeserve allows you to stay on line without redialling. I always thought if a download was interupted, on regaining the connection the download continued where it left off. Brian List Admin --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
