Hope Street is the street in Liverpool which has a cathedral at each end - one is the majestic Anglican Cathedral, Christ's Cathedral. The other is the Roman Catholic Cathedral of Christ the King, locally known as Paddy's Wigwam because of the architectural design. In Liverpool we think the street is very appropriately named. A friend sent this today, and I thought it was lovely. A man walking along Hope St. saw a man working on a piece of sandstone. He stopped and asked the man what he was doing. The man replied ' Breaking this damn stone'. Further along he met another man doing the same thing, and asked him the same question. The man straightened up and said, ' I'm building a mighty cathedral'. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
