You may be surprised, Angela. You probably had blood work done when you were pregnant with Katie as well s when she was born. Do you know exactly what tests they did? Probably included tests for AIDS and syphilis among other things. The doctor would likely only mention test results that showed a problem. I thought that there was an article in the BMJ that said that if a person doesn't get enough cholesterol their body manufactures it. There is also good and bad cholesterol. That's why I don't think the medical profession has any idea......I think someone has an idea and then they convince the world that they are right until someone comes along and tells them they are wrong!!!!!
