WEBPAGE REVIEWS http://locate.gloscc.gov.uk/ This is the searchable database of Gloucestershire Local Studies Libraries holdings. A wonderful resource for those with ancestors in Gloucestershire, or interested in Gloucestershire local history. A nice quick search mechanism on this site means it is very quick and very easy to find where what you are looking for is held. Very good indeed http://www.essexvillages.net/ A super little website with submitted records for Essex. There are Parish Records, Census Records, strays and names people are researching in the area. There are not huge numbers of records, but the site relies on contributions from visitors, so you need to submit your records as well! The site is very well laid out and extremely easy to navigate so you will easily find what you are looking for! FORTHCOMING EVENTS 17-20 July 2002 - "Celebrate your Ancestors" - British Isles FHS-USA is proud to announce their 15th annual seminar aboard the berthed Queen Mary at Long Beach, CA. Latvia, more for the show that she put on i think than for her voice. Personally I liked the French entry, beautiful voice, and we liked Malta too. I used to smoke but never in the house and they always say there's no-one worse than a reformed smoker but I really do hate it. I think that is why I found it SO EASY to pack it in, but I'm not preaching. I'm off to watch my favourite film now, Victor/Victoria with Julie Andrews and Robert Preston. The best part about the eurovision is Terry Wogan's quips. Even my children laugh at him, and every year we have to beg friends who have satellite to record it for us as we view the Greek live show. Last night we put the radio on with the English commentary and watched the screen which was a millisecond ahead of the radio, but it was worth it just to hear the commentary in English. angela ----- Original Message ----- From: Jim Sharpe <jimm.sharpe@virgin.net> To: <GEN-FRIENDS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, May 27, 2002 12:33 AM Subject: Re: [GEN-FRIENDS] TONIGHt > I saw one fragment when during the local natural break when a couple who > resembled a latter day Anne Zeigler and Webster Booth sang.
