When my sister emigrated from Ontario to Alberta, she found herself much better off financially because they only had one lot of tax in Alberta, and two in Ontario. Mind you, the salaries were lower, too. If I am not mistaken, we pay 17.5% tax on most stuff, but not food, except for luxury foods as you describe. Marj > In the US its the same Marg. Bragging now. I have done the trip through the Rockies three different ways. By Greyhound Bus, with Don, by Car with some friends and Don, and by air, on my own. Every way was wonderful and the trips were all different. The flight was fantastic, and only an hour and a half, but the other routes took a lot longer. The bus, we had an overnight stop at Kamloops (never again) but by car we had overnight stops at Golden and Revelstokes. Fantastic. Marj > Mine too.
