The battery on my laptop is a Lithium and they have just replaced it cos it started to run down fast and eventually was only any good for about 15mins!!!! Any idea which is the best thing to do with this type. I usually run it down and then recharge. Would I be better to use it on the elec and only use battery power when I am away from home? I usually use it for a couple of hours a day....if not more!!! The battery gets recharged daily cos I thought it was like the old mobile batteries. Brian, I use ME and I was told that so long as it is suitable for Win 98 then it will run on ME. So far I have had nothing that I haven't been able to put on here even though the instructions say that is for use on Win95 or 98 so I suggest you give it a try first. I use a Smart Media card floppy to transfer my pics and that runs OK although it only says Win95 or 98. I think it was another one of those scams to make us buy new programmes by telling us it wasn't compatible. Roz > Thanks, Dave. The question is no longer a question.
