Oh, sweet innocence.................. One thing the general public need to realise is that most cons are subnormal. Their brains are warped and they spend 90% of their "lock-up" devising schemes for REVENGE against the society who have treated them so badly. It is not yet a year since I receives a barrage of hate mail with the usual "we're going to get you" trash because I told that whining woman from Wyoming to stop going on about her illnesses and concentrate on the positive side of life. And when I finally unsubscribed her all hell broke loose. How e-mails are allowed out of prisons I will never know because mail always used to be censored very strictly but I suppose nowadays that would be considered an invasion of privacy. Incidentally that load of cr** came from Preston nick from someone who claimed to know me. Remember, all our comments are available in the Archives. Our "gibberish" is certainly of interest to the old slags. Brian, here in the states it's the same. People are trying to get us to ban the flag in public places, the Ten Commandments, Our Pledge of Allegiance [especially the phrase "In God We Trust" and so many other things which let us show our pride in our Country. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Brian" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, April 24, 2002 4:57 AM Subject: [GEN-FRIENDS] St George for England Yesterday was St Georges day. Thought Brian might be interested in this story We all know the story about the xmas day football match in WW1. Less well known is a Capt Neville of the East Surrey Regt who on leave bought 4 footballs one for each of his Platoon Commanders. On the morning of July 1st 1916 his men were about to enter the battle for Montauban. Believing it in good spirits for his men the Platoon commanders were ordered to "Kick Off" as they went over the top with a prize on offer for the first man to score a "Goal " in the German trenches. sadly that day and in a matter of minutes 60,000 British casualties were sustained including the said Captain.
