Why don't you use Publisher for your labels. I take it they are in sheets of so many. Mine are 18 labels per A4 sheet because that is an ideal size of label for floppy discs [which I rarely use nowadays]. But there are 1800 per box for about £4:00. Mike, I don't think many of our 11 year olds here in the states could answer your 11+ questions, heck even our 18 year olds might have a rough go of it! Our school systems have really sunk to a new low over the last few years. Our 11 year olds are only in the 4th or 5th grades, depending on when they started school. Jackie, who is 13, is only in the 7th grade this year, and these questions had her stumped! We have three levels of school for those 18 and under. Grammar or grade [k-5], junior or middle school [grades 6-8] and high school [9-12]. If anyone wants too they can go further into college and trade school. Thanks for sharing that 1957 test however, really makes one aware of just how far down our school systems have come! Vicky --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. DOG PET PEEVES ABOUT HUMANS 1. When you run away in the middle of a perfectly good leg humping 2. Blaming your farts on me...not funny. 3. Yelling at me for barking... I'M A FRIGGIN' DOG YOU IDIOT!! 4. How you naively believe that the stupid cat isn't all over everything while you're gone.(Have you noticed that your toothbrush tastes a little like cat butt?) 5. Taking me for a walk, then not letting me check stuff out. Exactly who's walk is this anyway? 6. Any trick that involves balancing food on my nose...stop it. 7. Yelling at me for rubbing my ass on your carpet. Why'd you buy carpet? 8. Getting upset when I sniff the crotches of your guests. Sorrybut I haven't quite mastered that handshake thing yet...idiot. 9. How you act disgusted when I lick myself. Look, we both know the truth, you're just jealous. 10. Dog sweaters. Have you noticed the fur? Imbecile 11. Any haircut that involves bows or ribbons. Now you know why we chew your shit up when you're not home. 12. When you pick up the crap piles in the yard. Do you realize how far behind schedule that puts me? 13. Taking me to the vet for "the big snip", then acting surprised when I freak out every time we go back. 14. The sleight of hand, fake fetch & throw. You fooled a dog! What a proud moment for the top of the food chain, you nitwit. 15. Invisible fences. Why do you insist on screwing with us? To my knowledge, dogdom hasn't yet solved the visible fence problem!! Roz

Yes you're right Frances - we are about to have a couple of tiles replaced, but it's the first time in 35 years. Mind you, the lower part of the roof, the sloping bit above the ground floor, we had done about twelve years ago as previously it was a flat roof that just didn't work - it let in water so we had it sloped and tiled to match the other. Good job I got those pictures yesterday, as the wind is back today, cutting like a knife, and blowing all the blossom off onto the grass. It will be like a carpet in a day or two.
