The East Texas Genealogical Society of Tyler, TX will conduct a free Beginners Genealogy Workshop from 6:30 - 8 p.m. Monday, October 7, 2002 in the Taylor Auditorium of the Tyler Public Library, 201 S. College Ave., Tyler, TX. The workshop is designed to introduce researchers to the basic concepts of family research. The course will help answer questions about getting started, organizing files, completing pedigree charts and accessing internet resources, with Theresa Wentz as the workshop coordinator . The workshop will be tailored to the needs of the participants. Anyone interested in starting their family research is invited to attend. No reservations or fees are required.
