She worked 10 years instructing students and teachers in library research skills including use of the internet and how to apply what it offers to solving the problem at hand. She is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, the Association of Personal Historians and the National Genealogical Society. She served from 2000-2002 as Program Chair and Webmaster for the Marin County Genealogical Society http://www.maringensoc.org; is the South-west/South-central County Coordinator Representative for the US GenWeb Project and serves as the Marin County GenWeb Coordinator http://www.cagenweb.com/marin. She offers presentations and lectures around the SF Bay Area on a number of genealogical topics and is an accomplished genealogical interviewer with articles published locally and on the internet.
