September 14, 2002 meet will be our popular "Show and Tell" where everyone shares and learns the latest happenings, changes in resources, techniques, help with brickwalls, and encouragement for the enjoyment of genealogy. Meeting location is at Homewood at Crumland Farms at 7414 Willow Road in Frederick, MD. October 12, 2002 meet will be on "Nineteenth Century Mourning Practices" by MS Sue Shatto. Meeting location is the new and wonderful C. Burr Artz Public Library on East Patrick Street in Frederick, MD again at 1 PM. This is the location of the Frederick County, MD Public Library's Maryland Room for regional archives and research for genealogy, history, and government resources. No charge November 9, 2002 meet will be on "Researching in Pennsylvania - Where to Begin" at 1 PM - by Alfreda Patton Davidson of York, PA. Location will be back at Homewood at Crumland Farms. Cost $ 5.00 for non-members, $2 for members. December 14, 2002 will be our Annual Holiday Luncheon at NOON - Homewood at Crumland Farms - Dr. Dean Herrin from the Catoctin Center for Regional Studies will be our key speaker highlighting the newest publication for the region.
