The next meeting of the Jewish Genealogical Society of New York will take place on Sunday, November 24th, 2002 at 2 p.m. at the Center for Jewish History located at 15 West 16th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues in New York City. Our speaker will be Estelle Guzik, past President of the JGS, and the editor of the JGS book, Genealogical Resources in the New York Metropolitan Area, published in 1989 and the soon to be published new edition. She will describe "What's New At The New York City Municipal Archives And What Can We Look Forward To In The Future?" The computers and research area of the Center's Genealogical Institute will open at 12:30 p.m. for the use of those attending the JGSNY meeting.
