Hi listers I'm delighted to announce that on Thursday 21 November 2002, at 11.00am BST, Hugh Kearsey will once again appear on The Jan Edwards Show on BBC Radio Oxford. As many of you will be aware, Hugh is this society's President and Projects Officer. The Jan Edwards Show features a studio guest who is an "expert" within his field. The guest then answers telephone calls on the air from listeners. When Hugh is on the show, he takes with him the society's "Search Services" on his laptop to enable him to answer specific questions about listeners' Oxfordshire and North Berkshire ancestry. He also uses his knowledge of other Oxfordshire records and of family history generally to answer other miscellaneous queries from the show's listeners.
