ANNE de DETROIT, 2 blocks east of the Ambassador Bridge, on SATURDAY, JULY 19 at 7PM for the French Novena celebration. This year’s Novena prayers are for World Peace. Fr. George Beaune, C.S.B. from Assumption Windsor will preside at the liturgy that will be celebrated in both French and English and feature French soloist, Jerry Potvin. Following the Liturgy, there will be a reception in the Ste. Anne Courtyard with food, refreshments and entertainment by the Moses Madwagon folk musicians, singing selections from their latest CD --- “Bells de Ste. Anne”. During the reception you will also have the opportunity to browse through the list of your French Ancestors who were in Detroit between 1701 – 1710. Covenient free parking and golf cart shuttles.
