Dear Family History Enthusiasts: There are still openings for the Sept. 10 lecture on "Genealogical Resources at the New Jersey State Archives." This presentation is the first in a nine-lecture series titled "Exploring Your Jersey Roots," to be held jointly by the State Archives and the Genealogical Society of New Jersey on Wednesday evenings this fall. The first lecturer, Ellen R. Callahan, is Collection Manager at the State Archives. She will provide basic information on the wide range of genealogical materials at the Archives, including resources acquired in recent years and the post-1900 estate records scheduled to be accessioned this month. The lecture will begin at 6:30 in the Manuscript Reading Room at the State Archives, 225 West State St. - 2nd Floor, Trenton, NJ 08625-0307. Parking will be available after 4:00 p.m. in the lot behind the Archives building; daytime parking is available in the State House Garage. Registration is $8 per lecture or $60 for the entire series.
