    3. NEHGS's Michael J. Leclerc to Speak in Minnesota on September 19 & 20 Michael J. Leclerc, New England Historic Genealogical Society's director of electronic publications, will be giving several talks in Minnesota next Friday and Saturday. On Friday, September 19, the topic will be "Researching Your New England Ancestors." The event, sponsored by the Yankee Genealogical Society, a branch of the Minnesota Genealogical Society, will be held at 7 p.m. at the Minnesota Genealogical Society (5768 Olson Memorial Highway, in Golden Valley). There is no charge but a $5 donation to the Yankee book purchase fund would be appreciated. On Saturday, September 20, at an all-day seminar sponsored by the Minnesota Genealogical Society, Leclerc will present four lectures: . Greffes des Notaires: The Goldmine in Québec's Notarial Records . Researching on NewEnglandAncestors.org . Clues to Nineteenth- and Twentieth-Century Immigrant Origins . Finding Your Ancestral Homes: Deeds, Maps, and Other Records The day begins with registration and refreshments at 8 a.m. and will end at approximately 3:45 p.m. The seminar will be held at Olson Middle School, 4501 West 102nd Street, in Bloomington.
