The Alabama Genealogical Society's Annual Fall Seminar will be on Saturday, October 18, 2003, in the auditorium of the Alabama State Capitol in Montgomery. Time is 9:00 am until 3:30 pm. The speaker will be J. Mark Lowe of Tennessee. His topics will be: "Land Barons or Dirt Farmers: Finding Land Transactions"; "Finding Your Landless Ancestors"; "Locating the Wanderer"; "Smith vs Jones, et al.: A Closer Look at Court Records".
