Hi listers I've already mentioned on the list that the place to be for family history this weekend is Oxfordshire. However, in stocktaking for the society's weekends events, I have been forced to make radical changes to the society's bookstall. This has resulted in :- 1. a lot of price-cutting, with many books now being on sale at up to half price, and 2. a significant quantity of new titles being acquired for sale, some of which are absolute gems. Any lister wanting to peruse the bookstall should visit either :- 1. "THE OXFORDSHIRE & BUCKS FAMILY HISTORY FAIR", to be held on Sunday 23 March 2003, from 10.00am to 5.00pm. 2. our society monthly meeting on Monday 24 March 2003 at 7.15pm. The subject of the talk at 8:00pm is "Using the Library of the Society of Genealogists", by Else Churchill. Both of these events will be held at the Exeter Hall, Oxford Road, Kidlington, Oxford OX5 1AB.
