Sorry for any inconvenience. **************************************************************************** ***************** Oklahoma Genealogical Society Annual Spring Seminar Saturday, April 26, 2003 Oklahoma City, OK John Phillip Colletta, Ph.D. will be the featured speaker at the Oklahoma Genealogical Society Annual Spring Seminar, Saturday, April 26, 2003 at Oklahoma City Community College, 7777 South May, Oklahoma City, OK. His topics will be "Passenger Arrival Records, Colonial Times to Early 20th Century," "Naturalization Records, Colonial Times to Early 20th Century," "Federal Military Service Records," "Revolutionary War to Early 20th Century" and "Breaking Through Brick Walls: Use Your Head!" Dr. Colletta, a Washington, D.C.-based genealogist and instructor, combines his vast knowledge and experience with a charming and entertaining delivery. He regularly lectures at the National Archives, Smithsonian Institution and workshops around the country. He is a faculty member of the Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research and the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy and has served on the faculty of the Genealogical Institute of Texas, the Genealogical Institute of Mid-America and the National Institute on Genealogical Research. He is the author of numerous articles, and several books. His first one, THEY CAME IN SHIPS, is now in its third edition. He has appeared on local and national radio and television and is featured in the PBS series, "Ancestors." Registration begins at 7:45 a.m. and vendors will have their supplies available before the lectures and during scheduled breaks. Sessions begin at 9:00 a.m. and continue through 4:45 p.m. Seminar registration fee is $45 for society members after April 15. Nonmember fee is $55 after April 15.
