Scottish Family History Workshop Toronto, Ontario Saturday, 10 November 2007 The Toronto Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society has announced the line-up of speakers and topics for the Scottish Family History Workshop to be held in Toronto on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at the North York Central Library Auditorium. Among those making presentations will be Sherry Irvine of Courtenay, BC, author of Scottish Ancestry: Research Methods for Family Historians, and Dr. Kevin James of the Department of History and Scottish Studies Program at the University of Guelph. Expert local speakers will round out the program. The Workshop will address various aspects of Scottish family history research, including sources, research techniques, emigration and settlement, libraries, archives and online resources. Both beginners and experienced researchers will find topics of interest.
