Connecticut Ancestry Society, Inc. Meeting/Workshop "Sunday Afternoon Genealogy" at the Mark Twain Library, Redding on Sunday, September 23, 2007 beginning at 2:00 PM Everyone Invited & Welcome Registration with Library Recommended Newly discovered Redding Vital Records and records of Christ Church, Redding Ridge, have been published in our August Journal and will be presented to town and library officials, furthering our mission of locating and preserving unpublished records of southwestern Connecticut. The Margaret Wixted Collection and other genealogical resources at the Library will be reviewed by a staff librarian, Jean Taylor. Society board members and library staff will provide personal guidance on genealogical research using the Library's print and internet resources plus advice on searches in other repositories. There will be a short Board Meeting at 1:00 PM prior to the presentation and workshop. The Mark Twain Library is located at 439 Redding Road (corner of Route 53 and Diamond Hill Road) in Redding, CT.
