Please join us for our fourth quarterly meeting of the Pommern Special Interest Group (PSIG). This year we have been having joint meetings with the Immigrant Genealogical Society at their library. The speaker for this October 14 meeting will be Carolyn Casperson who will share her experiences in Norway as she successfully connected with relatives she was able to trace down through the on-line phone book, computer groups, and persistence coupled with serendipity. Of the 107 countries she has visited, this one was really special--and not just because of her ancestral roots. The IGS Library at 1310 West Magnolia Blvd. in Burbank is open from noon until 5pm each Sunday. Our meeting will start at 2 pm and, as usual, will be followed by refreshments with time for research and consultation.
