October is Family History Month so it is appropriate that George Unrine, our "Die Vorfahren" Editor, will present 'Who Were the People of Pomerania?' for our Pommern group as well as members of the Immigrant Genealogical Society. Looking at the cultural and geographical history, he will discuss the geographical movements of these people and their history from Roman times to the formation of the Duchy of Pomerania. Meetings are held at 2:00 PM in the Immigrant Genealogical Society Library, 1310 West Magnolia in Burbank. The IGS Library will be open from noon to 5 PM so we hope you will join us for the program and discussion/study afterwards.
