All The next meeting of the Oxfordshire Family History Society will take place on Monday 23 June 2008 at the usual venue at Exeter Hall, Oxford Road, Kidlington, Oxford OX5 1AB. Doors open at 7.15 pm for coffee, help with both genealogy and computers, and the bookstall, exchange journals and the library. After a brief AGM at 8.00pm, the subject of the talk is "Fred Lewis - scouting and baseball in Chipping Norton". I am sure that everyone with North Oxfordshire interests will be interested to learn more about this well-known "Chippie" resident. Our speaker on "Fred Lewis - scouting and baseball in Chipping Norton" is Alan Watkins, who as an OFHS member himself is a familiar face at our meetings.
