British Isles Family History Society--USA On Sunday, 22 June 2008, from 1:00-3:00 p.m., the British Isles Family History SocietyUSA will present "Learning to Know Our Ancestors Through Their Handwriting," presented by Sheila Lowe, a court-qualified handwriting expert with more than 40 years of experience in the field of handwriting. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and is the author of several published books including Handwriting of the Famous and Infamous, and The Complete Idiot's guide to Handwriting Analysis, as well as Sheila Lowe's Handwriting Analyser software. Recently, she ventured into the world of fiction with Poison Pen, the first in a mystery series introducing handwriting expert, Claudia Rose. Poison Pen received a starred review in Publishers Weekly. As a handwriting expert, Sheila is often seen in the media analyzing celebrities, presidential candidates, and people in high-profile criminal cases. She provided services to corporate clients, mental health professionals, attorneys, private investigators and staffing agencies, and many others. >From 3:30-4:30PM, the society will conduct a tour of the Los Angeles Regional Family History Center, which has recently been rearranged.
