Morning Seminar - American Military Research Online: What's There & What's Not! Afternoon Workshop - Going Beyond the Obvious: Problem-solving with Online Military Records Presenter: Susan Goss Johnston, Fremont, CA, a much respected L-AGS member, genealogist, college genealogy instructor and lecturer. In the morning sessions, Johnston will present an American military time line and talk of the records created during these events and where they are located. She will cover what information is available online and what information is not. Both subscription and non-subscriptions sites will be covered. Her afternoon interactive online workshop will include four military case studies. Although not necessary, those with wireless laptops, with up-to-date virus software, can follow online as Johnston walks us through solving four American military case studies. Footnote.com has donated temporary access to their software during the workshop.
