Join us for a special meeting on Sunday, March 30, 1:00-3:00 p.m. when Nancy Ellen Carlberg discusses the “Differences between British and Irish Research.” In her presentation, Nancy will offer information about cemeteries, church records, civil registrations, and land and probate records existing in Ireland, Wales, England and Scotland in order to show you that, despite their name, they are not all alike. >From 3:30-5:00 p.m., Nancy will alert you to the “Hazards of Scottish Research.” Listen as Nancy points out the “quirks” in Scottish research, including the use of middle names, maiden names, Scottish name equivalents, the change in Scotland’s calendar and more!
