Jamboree Program is now available The official 12-page Jamboree Program is now available for download from the Jamboree section of the SCGS website www.scgsgenealogy.com. The program includes the lecture schedule; speaker biographies; information about the Marriott and lodging arrangements; sponsors, exhibitors and contributors; and the printed registration form for those who wish to register by mail or phone. Online registration is also available at http://www.scgsgenealogy.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=50. Publication of the program represents the culmination of months of the committee's planning and organization. We hope that you will find it useful in your own conference planning. Printed copies will be going out in the mail by mid-month. SCGS members and prior Jamboree participants will receive copies automatically. To be added to our email list to receive a brochure in the mail, please provide your contact information here: http://www.surveyconsole.com/console/gateway/243535. If you would like to obtain copies for your genealogical society, library, historical society or other group, please drop us a note at jamboree@scgsgenealogy.com with instructions on the number you need and where to send the copies. Thanks in advance for helping us get the word out. Major Jamboree Sponsorship Announced We are pleased to announce that Ancestry.com has agreed to provide a major sponsorship to the 2008 Genealogy Jamboree. Ancestry.com, a company of The Generations Network, will underwrite the appearance of Megan Smolenyak Smolenyak, chief family historian for Ancestry.com. Ancestry.com will be represented on the exhibit floor by Suzanne Russo Adams and Adele Marcum. Stop by their booth at spaces 307, 308 and 309 and thank them for their continuing support of Jamboree.
