    1. [GEN-EVENTS-L] CANCELED??? -7/22-24/04 ANGELINA COLLEGE GENEALOGY CONFERENCE
    2. Vivian Cates
    3. I am sad to report that I am presuming that the July 22-24 2004 ANGELINA COLLEGE GENEALOGY CONFERENCE has probably been canceled since I have heard nothing more from the college people. Reasons for the cancellation can be summarized as follows. Due to budget cuts the college is no longer willing to support the conference financially at its former levels. Also lack of attendance in 2003 from the Lufkin and Angelina County Community and lack of projected attendance for 2004 from the local community and projected general attendance numbers lower than needed to continue to support the conference for 2004.
