I have a problem opeing file folders. When I click on a folder it asks me to choose the programme I want to open the file. If I right-click on the file folder the top of the list in bold says 'Print Directory Listing'. 'Open' is shown at fourth place in the list. How do I get the folders to open normally, please. Rita

It seems that your problem may lie in what appears to be the confusion you have with just what is a folder and what is a file. Once you understand the basics of Windows Explorer you will find that using your computer becomes much easier. Rather than a long dissertation here, these sites will set you on the right path.
