Up until a few months ago I had an ICON on my start up menu where I could store create shortcut Icon's that I don't use often but still want them handy. I have lost this ICON option. I did not delete it, maybe one of MS updates eliminated this option. I hope I have explained myself correctly. I am not the greatest PC user. Does anyone know how I can get this storage ICON back? John
Windows has a feature that cleans up (removes) icons / short cuts rarely used. Usually it will ask you if you want it to run after a set time. You may have to recreate short cuts you want back. -----Original Message----- From: gen-comp-tips-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:gen-comp-tips-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of John Contratto Sent: Sunday, July 13, 2008 1:23 PM To: GEN-COMP-TIPS@rootsweb.com Subject: [GEN-COMP-TIPS] ICON Up until a few months ago I had an ICON on my start up menu where I could store create shortcut Icon's that I don't use often but still want them handy.
