When my computer shut down on it's own I found out it was overheating because the fan had dust on it. Have it cleaned out regularly and you shouldn't have any more problems. The computer is on from 6am to 10pm as I use it from home for work. It has a Chill Pad that provides ventilation. In the past few weeks, the computer has shut down on its own after I leave it alone for a very short time. The computer is always plugged in via the ac cord. The battery isn't used very often but it will work for a couple of hours at a time. When I turn the computer back on, it comes on normally with no error messages. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this would be happening? I have wondered if there is a power supply issue as I had one of those go out on a desktop computer once. But, when it went out, the computer could not be turned on at all. Thanks for any help! Judy Oklahoma City -------------------------------------- Having trouble with your subscription?
