Hi Judy; Another thing to consider was an experience I had. When I this trouble, mine was that I had too many peripherals connected to my computer and the power supply was overheating, causing the heat sensor to shut down the machine. Put in a new power supply and an additional fan and everything was fine. My suggestion, vacuum out the inside of the computer first (as Lisa suggested) and see if that helps. It's the most cost effective solution. -- Enjoy the Search! Thayne Lisa Davenport wrote: > When my computer shut down on it's own I found out it was overheating > because the fan had dust on it.
